This policy explains what information AgentCSX collects, how we use it, and your choices. By using the Service you consent to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide: your email address, resume/CV and its contents, job preferences, and the job boards you select.
Payment information: subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details; Stripe handles them under its own privacy and security standards.
Usage data: basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and interactions, collected to operate and improve the Service.

2. How we use your information

To provide the Service, including tailoring resumes and submitting applications to the job boards you select.
To process payments and manage your subscription.
To send you Service-related notifications (application updates, account and billing messages).
To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Service.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

3. How we share information

Third-party job boards: to apply on your behalf, we submit relevant information (such as your tailored resume and contact details) to the platforms you select. Their handling of that data is governed by their own policies.
Service providers: we use trusted processors such as Stripe (payments), our hosting provider (Vercel), and email/AI providers, who process data only to provide services to us.
Legal reasons: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your data (see Section 6).

5. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing (for example under the GDPR or CCPA). To exercise these rights, contact support@agentcsx.com. You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time.

7. Cookies

We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Service working, remember preferences, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect functionality.

8. International users

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, which may have different data-protection laws. By using the Service, you consent to such processing.

9. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are indicated by the "Last updated" date, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
